Murdered camper’s family come face to face with killer for first time since verdict

Missing camper murderer Greg Lynn is set to face a lengthy delay before finding out his fate for the murder of Carol Clay after coming face to face with her grieving family in court.

Greg Lynn will likely appeal murder verdict

The grieving family of an elderly woman killed while camping in Victoria’s high country have today faced off with her murderer, describing the toll her death has taken on them.

Former Jetstar pilot Greg Lynn is facing a pre-sentence hearing in the Supreme Court.

The 57-year-old pilot continues to maintain his innocence after a jury in June found him guilty of the murder of Carol Clay, 73.

Lynn was acquitted of the murder of Russell Hill, 74, who died at the same campsite in the Wonnangatta Valley.

The secret lovers vanished during a camping trip in March 2020.

Lynn is facing a maximum penalty of life behind bars.

Lynn was found guilty of the murder of Mrs Clay but aquitted of the murder of Russell Hill.
