A man wounded in a mysterious shooting has two months later been charged over a horror hit-run in the Latrobe Valley, which claimed the life of a 59-year-old Moe woman.

A man wounded in a mysterious Latrobe Valley shooting has been charged over the death of a woman in a road smash two months later.
Morwell man Brenton Brown, 30, is accused of dangerous driving causing death after the tragedy which claimed the life of a 59-year-old Moe woman last month.
Police have alleged a gold Nissan ute collided with a blue Hyundai Accent on Purvis Rd in Tanjil South on May 2.
Mr Brown is accused of leaving the scene of the smash, in which the woman suffered injuries which caused her death 17 days later.
Major collision investigation unit detectives have charged Mr Brown with dangerous driving causing death, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, failing to render assistance after an accident, committing an indictable offence while on bail and driving while disqualified.
Mr Brown has been remanded in custody.
He was shot in the back on March 20 and presented himself at Latrobe Valley Hospital for treatment.
Mr Brown did not report the matter to police and did not co-operate with officers inquiring into what happened to him.
The shooting remains under investigation.
Police looking into the wounding of Mr Brown last month charged three men with other offences as part of their inquiry.
Detectives raided three properties in Pakenham and Traralgon where they uncovered a slew of drugs, including GHB, methylamphetamine and MDMA.
Police also found an imitation gun and cash at one of the Traralgon addresses.
They charged a 23-year-old Pakenham man with trafficking ecstasy and methylamphetamine.
Two 25-year-old and 22-year-old Traralgon men were charged with possessing GHB, methylamphetamine and MDMA.
The 22-year-old was also charged with possessing an imitation handgun.
