‘Melbourne this is sad’: Brighton WAG Bec Judd lets rip over ‘woke, broke and violent’ state
Brighton influencer and queen WAG Bec Judd has fired up over rising crime in her patch saying she can’t believe Melburnians are living the way they are — in a “woke, broke and violent” society.

Brighton influencer turned crime fighter Bec Judd has unleashed another furious tirade over rising violent crime in Melbourne’s Bayside suburbs.
“Melbourne this is sad. Woke, broke and violent. I can’t believe we are living like this,” Judd wrote on Instagram in response to an interview by 3AW’s Jacqui Felgate with Sandringham Liberal MP, Brad Rowswell.
The shadow treasurer hosted a community safety forum at the Beaumaris Bowls Club on Thursday night demanding more be done to lock up youth offenders.
There was outrage when Victoria Police acting superintendent Martin Bourke suggested Bayside residents place Apple AirTags in their cars to make it easier for police to track them down, after they’d been stolen.
The top cop also said police were out “targeting burglars and car thieves each night” and urged residents not to use baseball bats to defend themselves.
More than 300 Beaumaris, Highett, Sandringham and Black Rock residents attended the heated forum.
It’s not the first time WAG Bec — who is married to AFL legend Chris Judd and has four children — has fired up over Bayside crime.
In February this year she slammed Premier Jacinta Allan and the state’s justice system over the handling of the state’s spiralling youth crime wave, accusing Ms Allan and her government of “staying quiet” on youth crime gangs.
“Victoria Police are doing their job. The justice system and state government are not,” Judd blasted at the time.
“Jacinta Allan stays quiet while we wonder if a gang of machete wielding youths are going to invade our homes while our children sleep.
“Lock bail offenders up. Ban machetes and other weapons. There’s a start.”
And early last year Judd took to social media to call out the soaring crime statistics in her neck of the woods saying “nothing to see in Briiiiiigton. Just a lazy 578 per cent increase in aggravated burglaries”.
A huge sign had been placed near the Judd’s $7.3m mansion, warning Brighton residents of criminals.
