Greg Domaszewicz – who was acquitted of Jaidyn’s 1997 murder – is accused of unlawful assault with a weapon and possessing a dangerous article, a makeshift spear, in a public place without lawful excuse.

The matter was adjourned to a later date, which was yet to be fixed.
Domaszewicz was a key figure in one of Victoria’s most notorious murder trials.
He has previously admitted that his “stupidity” led to the death of Jaidyn more than two decades ago, but maintained his innocence over the 14-month old’s killing.
Domaszewicz was the boyfriend of Jaidyn’s mother, Bilynda, at the time of the boy’s death.
