A 14-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in the state’s east.
The teen sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the collision in Lakes Entrance on Monday.
Emergency services were called to Marine Parade about 10.30am
A male driver stopped at the scene and is helping police with their inquiries.
The police investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
