A cop accidentally shot herself in the leg at Chelsea police station.
The “unintentional discharge” of the senior constable’s firearm occurred just before 7am on Saturday.
The officer was taken to The Alfred where she underwent surgery.
The force has launched an internal investigation into how the shooting occurred.
It will be overseen by Professional Standards Command.
