The Alfred Hospital have confirmed Mr Robinson is in a stable condition.
Mr Robinson was sent flying through the air and into oncoming traffic after a shocking road confrontation on Saturday.
The 25-year-old motorcyclist was riding down a busy road in Cranbourne North alongside a black Audi when he allegedly punched the side mirror of the car.
The 21-year-old driver of the vehicle then sped up, crashed into the bike and sent the rider tumbling from his motorcycle, across the other side of the road and into oncoming traffic.
In footage captured by an Uber driver’s dashcam from the next lane over, the motorcyclist can be seen flipping through the air multiple times as vehicles on the other side of the road continue to drive past him.
The Audi driver stopped after the collision.
After spending the night in The Alfred hospital, paramedics said the rider only suffered cuts and bruises.
In a statement to Channel 7, the Uber’s passenger Liam Knoppien said: “I went into panic mode straight away.
“I got a quick glimpse of him when he was on the ground and he was moving but after that I couldn’t really see what was going on.”
Police had not pressed charges on Sunday night and said an investigation into what occurred was ongoing. Detectives were eager to anyone who witnessed the incident.
The rider was still in hospital on Sunday in a stable condition.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
