Four teens have been arrested, including a 14-year-old, following a dramatic aggravated burglary in Kew.
Police allege the teens arrived at a property on Sackville St in Kew in a stolen BMW around 4am.
They are then accused of forcing entry into the home and confronting a female resident who was asleep in bed at the time.
Police say the group demanded the woman hand over keys to a vehicle before stealing a mobile phone, wallet and jewellery.
The Dog Squad and Air Wing were deployed to help find the teens, who fled the scene on foot, reportedly jumping over the fences of neighbouring properties before their eventual arrest on Bramley Court.
The four teens, aged 14 to 16, are currently in custody waiting to be interviewed by police.
The BMW was allegedly stolen from a property in Cranbourne West overnight.
