Police are investigating after a man was found dead at a boarding house in Kew.
The body of a 55-year-old man was found just after 6.30am on Sunday.
A portion of Malmsbury St, near the intersection of Brougham St, has been blocked off.
It is not yet known whether the death is suspicious.
A neighbour who walk his dogs along the street said there were always people hanging around the boarding house.
“There is always something going on,” he said.
“I always see people sitting out the front smoking.”
“Everyone in the neighbourhood says when people get out of prison that is the first place they register their address.”
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
