Bodybuilder Sven Lindemann charged with the stabbing murder of Monique Lezsak

The boyfriend of Monique Lezsak has fronted court for the first time after being charged with her murder.
Sven Lindemann, 51, appeared via video link in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Saturday charged with the stabbing murder of Ms Lezsak, 39, at her parents’ Endeavour Hills home on Tuesday morning.
No details of the alleged murder were aired during the brief administrative hearing and Mr Lindemann was remanded to reappear in court on October 16.
Mr Lindemann, who was also charged with recklessly causing injury, was charged on Saturday after homicide detectives spoke to him in hospital where he remains under police guard.
It was on Tuesday morning about 7.30am when the couple, who had been together a number of years, were involved in an alleged altercation which turned deadly.
Mother-of-two Ms Lezsak died at the scene while her young daughter sustained serious injuries after she attempted to intervene.
The girl was taken to hospital for further treatment as loved ones raced to her bedside.
