The family fun at Moomba Festival was interrupted on Saturday night as dozens of teens engaged in a chaotic no holds barred melee.
Police confirmed they are investigating a physical altercation between teenagers at the iconic Melbourne free community festival that occurred about 9.30pm.

The violent affray was captured in a video showing families and their children watching on as dozens of teens became embroiled in the fighting.
At one point an elderly man can be seen clinging to his walking frame as he is caught in the middle of the brawl.
Some young combatants are shown curled up on the ground guarding against punches and kicks from multiple attackers.
The offenders then fled the scene before police could arrive.
Lord Mayor Nick Reece condemned those involved in the brawl.
“We do not tolerate violence of any kind at Moomba,” Mr Reece said in a statement.
“We will continue to work closely with Victoria Police to ensure Moomba remains a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.”
