A gang of alleged bikies are being investigated after they were caught parading through the streets of Melbourne late on Friday night.
Riders donning jackets of the notorious Finks Motorcycle Club were seen joy-riding along the Southbank Promenade about 8pm as horrified pub-goers watched on.
More than 25 riders marshalled outside venues before they travelled west along the pavement designated for pedestrians and cyclists.
Video obtained by the Herald Sun shows the group roaring and revving their engines in front of onlookers.
Managers and staff at venues on the concourse said the bikes were “very loud” and the smell of burning petrol had disturbed customers.
People had to make way for the train of motorcycles as they cruised their way towards Queens Bridge St.
It is believed some of the riders tried to get into a number of venues but were denied entry.
Others were seen taking photos with gawking pedestrians.
The potentially dangerous stunt was captured on multiple Safe City Cameras that will be reviewed by the City of Melbourne.
An investigation has been opened into the incident and Victoria Police will try to establish if any offences occurred.
“Police are aware of possible illegal motorcycle activity in Southbank on Friday,” a police spokeswoman said.
