Berwick: Man dies at Casey Hospital after he was dropped outside

Police have made an arrest over the allegedly suspicious death of a man who was dropped off at a Berwick hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Homicide detectives are investigating after the man was brought to Casey Hospital about 7.30am on Sunday.

On Sunday afternoon, police confirmed they had a man in custody.

“Police have arrested and are currently interviewing a male,” a police spokeswoman said.

The victim was treated at the scene but later died.

He is yet to be formally identified.

The investigation remains ongoing.
