It is not known what prompted the early morning brouhaha.

Homicide squad detectives are investigating the circumstances around the man’s death and are awaiting the results of a post mortem.

They will examine whether the man’s death was attributed to a medical incident, or otherwise.

Post mortem reports can take several days to complete.

Eyewitness accounts will also be crucial to the case.

On Sunday police established a crime scene at the Sunshine Ave venue, which was cordoned off.

Forensic detectives attended the scene hunting for clues.

An SES tent was set up to hide the man’s body.

Victoria Police were unable to provide the man’s age or suburb at time of print.

The Kealba Hotel advertises itself as having a “state of the art TAB and sports bar layout”.

“(The hotel is) a great way to watch your favourite sporting events.”

No charges have been laid and the investigation is ongoing.
