HOMESMAN ($400,000)
Homesman resumed off an 11-month spell and toyed with quality opposition in the Feehan Stakes. He is on track to win successive G1 Underwood Stakes.
ENTICING STAR ($350,000)
She comes to Sydney (G2 Golden Pendant) as the winner of eight of her 10 starts in Perth. Her trials for new trainer Chris Waller have been very encouraging. She’s ready to win.
BIVOUAC ($300,000)
The boom Godolphin colt was dominant in the Run To The Rose. His greatest asset is his tactical speed which puts him in the right spot in his races and he’s my first of four selections in the G1 Golden Rose.
YES YES YES ($250,000)
Brilliant colt who is still in the Everest mix. He needs to make a statement in the Golden Rose and his first-up effort behind Bivouac in the Run To The Rose showed he is in for a very good spring campaign.
EXCEEDANCE (C) ($225,000)
Exceedance was outstanding in the San Domenico Stakes then ran the best closing sectionals of the race when third in the Run To The Rose on a track that was difficult to make ground. The 1400m should suit him in the Golden Rose and he’s my captain pick for the round.
JUST THINKIN’ ($150,000)
Promising young stayer who likes to lead and dominate in his races. The 1800m will be perfect for him in the G3 Gloaming Stakes.
SHADOW HERO ($100,000)
He lost no admirers with his closing third behind Just Thinkin’ in the Dulcify Stakes. He will strip fitter for the G3 Gloaming.
PANDEMIC ($100,000)
Pandemic has shown plenty of natural ability in his three races, winning the first two very impressively then having excuses last start. Promising sprinter who can win a good race this spring and is a chance in the Heritage Stakes (Rosehill Race 3) this Saturday.
FASANO ($75,000)
Fasano is a superbly bred colt by Lonhro with obvious potential. He is racing like a colt who will appreciate getting out over further than 1600m and will enjoy the services of Nash Rawiller in the G3 Gloaming Stakes at Rosehill.
YAO DASH ($50,000)
He’s taking an unbeaten record into the Golden Rose. Likes to lead in his races and gives a strong kick under pressure and is my fourth selection in the big Group 1 from Rosehill.
JOCKEY: TOMMY BERRY
He is riding with confidence and will have a strong book of rides including Exceedance.
