Dual Group 1 winner Eduardo gave The Everest slot holders a little reminder of his class when coasting in a Warwick Farm trial win while South Australian gun Gytrash also impressed.
The Joe Pride-trained sprinter trucked along under his own steam and was barely tested by comeback jockey Robbie Dolan closest to the inside rail when overpowering the Marc Conners-trained Nictock late.
Gytrash, now trained by Gordon Richards as well as Damien Moyle, did it similarly easy when coming from second last on the turn to finish 3-3/4 lengths off Eduardo.
The winner clocked 47.21 seconds (last 600m in 33.2) for the 805m gallop.

A date with the $15m The TAB Everest on October 16 at Randwick looms for both Eduardo and Gytrash in the coming months.
Both horses are rated $15 chances in The TAB Everest where the Chris Waller-trained Nature Strip sits atop the betting at $4.50.
Gytrash has already been snapped up again for the feature race by Inglis after running third for the slot holder in 2020.
But Pride is still waiting for Eduardo, which finished 11th last year after going too hard in front, to be locked in for the race with connections in negotiations with numerous slot holders.
Eduardo is set to have another trial before resuming in the Group 2 The Shorts (1100m) at Randwick on September 18.
Meanwhile, Gary Portelli’s promising three-year-old Royalzel also featured in the same heat as Gytrash and Eduardo.
He missed the start by three lengths before hitting the line well late to finish fourth.
Portelli is mulling over races like the Caulfield Guineas and Spring Champion Stakes with the colt.
