Live stream: How to watch every match from 2024 AFL Masters National Carnival

Like a fine wine, the stars of yesteryear are ready to prove that Australian rules football only gets better with age.

The AFL Masters National Carnival is returning to the Wild West at the end of September, with five days of unrelenting action from Fremantle.

For the third-straight year, KommunityTV will be the only place you can watch all of the action from almost 90 games across the week.

There is also sure to be some famous faces running around the fields of Fremantle, and while Lions legend Jason Akermanis stole the show last year, it’s understood his absence in 2024 has opened the door for another potentially familiar face to take the mantle.

HOW TO WATCH

Every match of the AFL Masters National Carnival will be able to watch live and on demand exclusively through KommunityTV.

The live streams will only be available to watch for full News Corp Australia digital subscribers.

As with previous years, the live streams from each field will be housed in daily articles, with the links for those to be included below during the tournament.

The live streams will also be viewable during the tournament in the live stream video player which is housed on the live streams homepage at www.kommunitytv.com.au.

The most recent replays will also be available in the video player, while daily replays will be added to each day’s article at the conclusion of the day’s play.

WHO’S IN CONTENTION?

All eyes will be on the home state at the end of September.

The last time the AFL Masters National Carnival bandwagon was taken to the Wild West in 2021, the locals completed a clean sweep of every age division.

But that was during a pandemic impacted carnival which did not feature three of the biggest states in NSW, Victoria or Queensland.

Victoria Metro will again be one of the states to watch at the tournament as they aim to clinch a three-peat of national titles in the Men’s Over-55s and Men’s Over-65s.

The state also has not been beaten in the Men’s Over-60s in eight years and will be determined to continue their dominance in that division.

Following the successful introduction of the Over-65s division in 2022, the AFL Masters National Carnival will host its first Over-70s match - an exhibition contest between the best of the West and the best of the rest - proving age is truly no barrier to sport.

Meanwhile at the other end of the age scale, the race for the carnival’s youngest men’s title is wide open after reigning champions Queensland opted against registering a team in the division.

Tasmania’s Over-35s know what it takes to win a title in that division, having won three in the past decade, while WA will launch a three-pronged assault on the division.

Queensland’s Over-35s women will be determined to win a second-straight national title and their fourth since 2018, but will face stiff competition from the ACT, South Australia and three Western Australia sides.
