SYDNEY’S champion trainer Chris Waller needs just one winner to smash the 200-win barrier for the season at Royal Randwick today.

Waller has 13 runners across five races today including a trio of entries, Via Napoli, In Mum’s Memory and Flaunting for the opening race, the Anzac Day Handicap (1400m).

The stablemates dominate betting for the race with Via Napoli favourite at $3.20 on TAB Fixed Odds just ahead of her stablemates In Mum’s Memory at $3.50 with Flaunting at $4.

Waller prepared a double at Rosehill last Saturday with Sir Bacchus and Murphy’s Delight to rests on 199 wins on all racetracks for 2015-16. He will pass the 200-win mark for the fourth season in succession.

With three months of the season remaining, Waller should break his personal best of 228 wins set in 2013-14.

John Camilleri, the breeder of champion mare Winx, can provide Waller with his 200th winner with Via Napoli.

Camilleri bred and owns Via Napoli – a superbly bred filly by super stallion Fastnet Rock out top broodmare Celebria, herself a close relation to champion sire Redoute’s Choice.

Via Napoli made a promising debut when she closed fast for second to I Am Magnificent at Wyong earlier this month.

“If she had drawn a better gate and did not spin off the course on the bend she might have won at Wyong, it was a huge run ,’’ Camilleri said.

“We are not real sure how she will handle the wet track but she is in race one, it will be a clean surface, and (jockey) Jason Collett can find the right part of the track.’’

Waller will also saddle up favourite Lady Le Fay ($2.80) in the Tommy Hill Memorial Handicap (2000m) where her opponents include top class stablemates Hawkspur, Moriarty and Weary.
