CRAIG Hutchinson’s SEN shake-up has claimed another scalp.

Former Australia Test cricketer Rodney Hogg is the latest pundit to go a day after it was revealed evening host Mark Fine and weekend presenter Kevin Hillier were axed.

Hogg confirmed the news on Twitter today, thanking listeners for their patronage.

It’s understood Hogg didn’t like what was happening at the station and decided to leave before a decision was made.

GERARD WHATELEY LEAVES ABC FOR SEN

The 38-capped Test fast bowler took 123 wickets at an average of 28 after making his debut against England at the Gabba in 1978.

In just his second Test he took 10 wickets and was named man of the match but couldn’t stop England winning.

It’s been a tumultuous summer for the radio station after being taken over by Hutchinson’s CrocMedia.

While Gerard Whateley is a big name recruit, there has been a host of exits headlined by David Schwarz and Mark Allen.

Whateley will come in to fill the 9am show, with Kevin Bartlett shifted to an afternoon program with Dr Turf to replace Schwarz and Allen’s axed show, The Run Home.

Mark Robinson has also left the station.

Fine, who had been at SEN for 13 years, developed a cult following for his Evenings With Finey show.

Jack Heverin will step into the breach, with his show The Sporting Capital to incorporate more live sport in the 7pm to midnight timeslot.

Heverin has been with Hutchison’s Crocmedia since 2012 and impressed as a host and caller, even filling in for Hutchison on his show Off The Bench.

In other developments a new one-hour show hosted by Sam McClure will run between 6-7pm.

McClure had been a part of the SEN’s revamped breakfast show last year with Garry Lyon and Tim Watson as its resident newsbreaker.

Ironically he will now go head-to-head against 3AW’s Sports Today — hosted by Gerard Healy and Dwayne Russell — the show which gave him his start in the industry.

Andy Maher will be on from midday, and the station has stuck with contracted morning show stars Garry Lyon and Tim Watson, who began this week.

The sweeping changes come as Hutchison puts his stamp on the line up after taking over as CEO on a salary of $883,752.
