GARRY LYON LEAVES CHANNEL 9 FOR FOX FOOTY
The two are headliners on a revamped SEN and have been cooling off, a la footy recovery sessions, ahead of their return to the airwaves.
“I think there’s a fascination with that sort of stuff but I’m way past worrying about that,’’ said Lyon, who also joins Fox Footy this year.
“The days of living and dying by the ratings book are gone. Hutchy’s (SEN boss Craig Hutchison) got good perspective on that. I’ve never been a great subscriber to it in terms of whether you’re flying or whether you’re not.
“You just keep doing the best you can.”

BEC JUDD WARMING UP FOR A BIG YEAR
Lyon and Watson decided to hit the water at Brighton Beach instead of having a billboard to spruik their show.
“We didn’t think we needed to have a serious photo,’’ Watson said.
“We thought we’ll take the p--- out of the players and how they look when they do their recovery sessions.
“The only thing I’m disappointed about with that photo is I have a six- pack and apparently they airbrushed that out so my stomach could match Garry’s.
“You do have to look at the scorecard always, but I don’t feel any more pressure than any other year.
“This is going to be exciting for everybody.”
SEN Breakfast will air weekdays from 6am-9am.
