Kilsyth sharpshooter Jada Hill not only secured a national title for her club, but also completed an epic 12 month journey to redemption.
The young gun, who played a key role in the Cobras gold medal triumph over home side Casey Cavaliers on Friday, had been part of Kilsyth’s Under-14 Club Championships heartbreak 12 months ago.
Kilsyth weren’t the only side to carve out a slice of history, with the Casey Cavaliers locking up their spot as the top boys’ side in the country, capping off an undefeated year on the courts with a national title win over Norths Bears.
You can relive all of the best moments from both gold medal showdowns in our EXCLUSIVE KommunityTV mini match highlight videos below.
Hill’s incredible rise over the past 12 months proved one of the feel-good stories of the 2024 Under-14 Club Championships, going from averaging a tick over five points per game in 2023 to almost 20 points per game this year.
Her 19.14 points per game, which included eight three-pointers across the week, puts her among the top five scorers at the Under-14 Club Championships.
