The sad reality of supermodel Gisele Bundchen’s messy split with NFL legend Tom Brady has been brutally revealed by a candid photo.

Tom Brady has been spotted without his wedding band.

Just days after wife Gisele Bündchen was also seen out in public without her wedding ring, Brady has now given the biggest sign yet that the pair are split beyond reconciliation.

Allegations of discord between Brady and Bündchen first surfaced in September, when it was revealed the pair had engaged in heated arguments over his NFL return.

The 45-year-old is reported to have gone back on a promise to retire.

The New York Post first reported the pair have been living in different houses in Tampa Bay.

Brady was seen without his ring as he left his hotel ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ game on Monday morning (AEDT) in Pennsylvania.

He wore a white T-shirt under a light blue button-down paired with dark blue pants and white sneakers. He carried a camouflage duffle bag in his ring-free left hand.

His choice to leave that important piece of jewellery at home comes as rumours continue to swirl the pair have both retained lawyers to act in any divorce process.

Fans poked fun at the NFL star’s decision to stick with the sport — and its correlation to the state of his marriage — after the Bucs’ defeat this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In now-viral video footage, an irate Brady is seen sharing a heated word with the team’s offense line, presumably shouting in his teammates’ faces.

“Tom Brady really got a divorce just to lose to the Steelers,” one person joked, while another opined, “Tom Brady don’t gaf about nothing but football, not his wife, not his kids, not his teammates.”

He was also spotted solo on Friday night in New York City attending Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s surprise wedding to Dana Blumberg.

Friends of Brady, 45, and Bündchen, 42, “are upset” at the Buccaneers quarterback “for going back on his word and coming out of retirement”, according to Us Weekly.

The couple have hired divorce lawyers.

“They hate the way Tom is refusing to bend for Gisele,” an insider said, as reported by The New York Post.

Allegations of discord between Brady and Bündchen first surfaced in September, when Page Six exclusively reported that the pair had engaged in heated arguments over his NFL return.

A source later stated, however, that their issues have “nothing to do with his decision to return to the NFL,” noting the claims are “sexist.”

Friends of the couple — who have been married since 2009 — are hoping the two can find a way forward together.

“This was really the first big issue they’ve had in their marriage. Friends are hoping they aren’t past the point of no return,” the Us Weekly insider said.

“I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is,” a source previously told Page Six.

Bündchen, who shares son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9, with Brady, turned heads on social media this week when she reacted to a post from Jay Shetty, an author and former Hindu monk, that centred on relationships.
