Who has been Old Scotch’s best VAFA player since 2000?

The club has had a string of players with AFL experience run out for the Cardinals, but only one of those have made our top five.

Old Scotch has a proud history, having competed in the ‘Premier A’ section for 72 years out of a possible 88 years, which is the most of any club.

It also boasts the longest continuous playing record of any club in that division, and has won nine ‘A’ Grade Premierships and three ‘B’ Grade Premierships.

The club’s last premiership was all the way back in 1978, yet they’ve still had a high number of quality players represent it since the turn of the century.

Here are the Herald Sun’s top 25 players for the historical amateur club since 2000.
