Collingwood has quashed reports midfielder Adam Treloar has suffered another hamstring setback, saying “he is fine”.
It was reported this morning that Treloar had sought medical advice last week after reinjuring the same hamstring that kept him out of Collingwood’s Round 1 win over the Western Bulldogs last month.
However, the Magpies have flatly rejected the reports.

“Adam has not reinjured himself,” a Collingwood spokesman told the Herald Sun.
“He went for a scan last week to check on his progress, as a matter of routine. He is fine.”
Treloar has a history of hamstring injuries.
He missed nine games in the back half of the 2018 season after having surgery to repair tendon damage in his left hamstring.
The 27-year-old suffered a minor strain in the same hamstring during Collingwood’s Marsh Community Series match against Richmond in Wangaratta on March 1, but Magpies football boss Geoff Walsh said at the time it was of little concern.

“Adam will work through the regulation 21 day rehab period and then we will reassess,” Walsh said last month.
“The strain is mild or low level and the previous major surgery is intact. Adam was confident that the nick was minor and so it is.”
Treloar posted a video on Instagram last Friday of partner Kimberley helping him compete a light skills session in their driveway.
The pair welcomed their first child last month, with daughter Georgie born on March 23.
