STAR Carlton forward Tayla Harris has accepted a one-game ban for striking.
Harris will miss Friday night’s clash with the Western Bulldogs after she was suspended for punching the former Brisbane Lions teammate Leah Kaslar during the Blues’ 22-point loss on Saturday night at Ikon Park.

Her absence at Whitten Oval continues a tough run for the Blues who suffered their first defeat of the season on Saturday, a week after coach Damien Keeping was hospitalised with a mystery illness and star captain Brianna Davey was ruled out for the season with a knee injury.

Cox escaped with a reprimand for striking Ellie Blackburn off the ball but was slapped with a one-match penalty for striking Blackburn’s fellow star midfielder Emma Kearney.
Casey was suspended for striking Giants star Cora Staunton, which left the Irishwoman requiring X-rays on a suspected broken nose.
