CARLTON remains defiant, Bryce Gibbs will not be traded.
As speculation around the star midfielder’s future continues, the Blues are adamant Gibbs will see out his contract.

Blues list manager Stephen Silvagni continued to pour cold water on the trade on Monday.
“Bryce hasn’t come to us to be traded,” Silvagni told AFL Trade Radio.
“Bryce is contracted for two years and that’s where it sits.
“We’re really happy to keep Bryce.
“We’re not trading Bryce. He’s got two years left on his contract.”
The Crows now have two first-round picks after trading Jake Lever to Melbourne for pick No.10 to go with their own pick at No.16.
Crows list manager Justin Reid said never say never as there was still a good relationship between the two clubs.
“I think all clubs, nothing is ever out of order. So if there is an opportunity for any club, and it fits both clubs and it’s a win-win, all clubs will always look at opportunities,” he told AFL Trade Radio.
“It doesn’t break down, you shake hands and you both walk away,” he said.
“So we’ve got a good relationship.”
Former Carlton coach Mick Malthouse said the Blues can’t afford let Gibbs go.
“He’s a terrific player ... absolutely you fight like hell to keep Gibbs,” he said.
The deal was made harder when Brisbane free agent Tom Rockliff chose Port Adelaide while Carlton are in the market for Giants youngster Matt Kennedy to bolster their midfield depth.
