WE had plenty of questions and now, we finally have some answers.
The first JLT Community Series game of the year has been run and won and with it, comes the first SuperCoach numbers of the season.
So where do we stand on the returning Bombers?
Well, he may have spent a year on the sidelines but Jobe Watson is still good. In fact, he is still really, really good.
Watson, who rested the last quarter, was ultra-impressive in his return, scoring 92 points.
Anyone thinking about leaving him out of their midfield at just $453,300 will need to have a serious re-evaluation now.

It felt like a quiet night for Dyson Heppell ($513,300 MID) but he still managed 82 points while Michael Hurley only played a half.
Also, is Josh Green on anyone’s radar as a potential small forward? Maybe he should be. The former Lion looked right at home in the red and black and finished with an impressive 95 points. His price tag of $332,400 is’t ideal.
And there was also the form of No.1 pick Andy McGrath to monitor.
Playing off the backline, McGrath looked incredibly poised for a teenager. He scored just 35 points but will only get better.
For the Magpies, a couple of cash cows put their hands up to be locks in your side.
Will Hoskin-Elliott ($213,000 FWD) showed what he can do with a little opportunity, scoring 83 while rookie-priced Josh Daicos had seven touches in the final term and didn’t look out of place against the bigger bodies.
After a poor 2016, Jordan De Goey has come back in great condition and will be tough to push out of the club’s midfield rotation. His score was boosted by two late goals.
Popular bench option Matthew Scharenberg didn’t score a lot but the main thing is he got through without another injury.
Meanwhile, Ben Sinclair could be forced to spend some time out of the game with a hamstring injury.
