DAYNE Zorko elevated himself into the SuperCoach pantheon but it wasn’t enough against a Geelong team led by Patrick Dangerfield.
Dangerfield rolled out a 165 which has become routine — he hasn't scored below 140 since Round 8 and has a staggering five-match average of 159. Remember when he dropped under $600k?

THE TACKLE: TIME FOR PRESTIA TO LIVE UP TO THE HYPE
But that shouldn’t overshadow the herculean efforts of Zorko, who gathered 36 disposals, 14 contested possessions, 10 clearances, 12 tackles and four goals on his way to 196 points — 93 more than the next best Lion.
But owners of Dustin Martin and Adam Treloar weren’t so happy. Who starred and who flopped for your team in Round 16? See our studs and duds below.
ADELAIDE 104 d WESTERN BULLDOGS 45
CROWS STUDS: Taylor Walker topscored with 133 points, his third ton of the year and first since Round 4. Rory Laird was back to his best with 119 and five more Crows reached three figures including Matt Crouch, Josh Jenkins and Jake Lever.
CROWS DUDS: Charlie Cameron (29) missed the part and Scott Thompson couldn’t revive his past SuperCoach glories, scoring 45 in his first game for the year. Rory Sloane wasn’t tagged so owners would be hoping for more than 91 in a big win.
DOGS STUDS: There are plenty of problems at the kennel but Toby McLean isn’t one, punching out a 123 in a losing team. Jack Macrae (118) was the only other Dog above 100 as Marcus Bontempelli faded after a brilliant first half to finish on 97.
DOGS DUDS: A few here with seven players scoring 50 or below. Easton Wood and Liam Picken are shadows of their premiership selves. Luke Dahlhaus’s 60 was his worst score of the year.
HAWTHORN 67 drew with GWS GIANTS 67
HAWKS STUDS: Tom Mitchell is putting together some sort of season. He has overtaken Dustin Martin to rank No. 3 in points scored this year after his 11th game in a row above 100. James Sicily scored 109 and Will Langford’s bouncing goal to tie the scores boosted him to 96. Jarryd Roughead also finished strong to reach 88.
HAWKS DUDS: Just 33 points for Tim O’Brien — bad news for his 571 owners. Luke Hodge had a down week with 52.
GIANTS STUDS: Callan Ward is on a tear — his 136 on Saturday gives him an average of 124 over his past four games. Josh Kelly spent a bit of time off the ground with an ankle injury but still scored 134 and Jon Patton (116) continued his hot streak. Do we put Heath Shaw in here? His 92 was his best for a month but it was looking a lot bigger when he had 68 points at halftime.
GIANTS DUDS: Sam Reid (26) and Daniel Lloyd (44) were around their usual mark but Shane Mumford (61) and Jeremy Cameron (69) were well down on their usual output.
ESSENDON 117 d COLLINGWOOD 80
BOMBERS STUDS: No massive scores but David Zaharakis (120) and Michael Hurley (117) were very good. Zach Merrett’s 109 is also pretty impressive considering Levi Greenwood tried to knock him into next week. Tip of the hat too James Kelly’s 107 and the six Bombers in the 90s.
BOMBERS DUDS: It wasn’t Josh Green’s week but that’s life as a small forward. David Myers’ 69 was a season-high.
MAGPIES STUDS: Dirty day for the Pies with just one player scoring above 100 — Steele Sidebottom with 106. Scott Pendlebury was next best with 93 but it would be a stretch to call him a SuperCoach stud based on his history.
MAGPIES DUDS: Adam Treloar described his own game as “horrendous” and his SuperCoach owners won’t argue after just 61 points. But there were nine teammates below him on the scoresheet; those considering Josh Thomas as a unique trade option should shelve those plans after a 46.
SYDNEY 118 d GOLD COAST 51
SWANS STUDS: Where did that come from? Gary Rohan’s 128 was his highest SuperCoach score in 87 career games. Dane Rampe’s 111 was a season-high while Luke Parker’s purple patch continued and Lance Franklin also cracked the ton.
SWANS DUDS: Dan Robinson was the late inclusion for Josh Kennedy but couldn’t rise to the occasion, scoring a team-low 42. Zak Jones copped a corked thigh and was playing at full-forward at stages, scoring 49 while Dan Hannebery’s super premium days appear over — at least for this season.
SUNS STUDS: Remember David Swallow? He was one of the most popular picks in the pre-season because he can score like this, producing a game-high 132 points. Jarrod Witts sent a message to the owners who traded him to Max Gawn, scoring 108.
SUNS DUDS: Ben Ainsworth couldn’t back up his 99 against North Melbourne, scoring just 23 at the SCG. Peter Wright couldn’t crack 30, either.
GEELONG 163 d BRISBANE LIONS 78
CATS STUDS: See above for Patrick Dangerfield’s crazy numbers. He wasn’t the only Geelong player to light up the SuperCoach scoreboard with Mitch Duncan (144), Mark Blicavs (137), Lachie Henderson and Joel Selwood (both 120) all going large. James Parsons’ 98 was great cover for Toby Greene.
CATS DUDS: Tom Lonergan produced a team-low 38 in his 200th game, but his value to the team has never been measured in SuperCoach points. Zach Tuohy (73) couldn’t cash in.
LIONS STUDS: Dayne Zorko.
LIONS DUDS: Josh Walker scored just three but he did suffer a leg injury. Matt Hammelmann (18) and Archie Smith (20) had no excuses while Stef Martin (57) was totally outplayed by Zac Smith.
ST KILDA 138 d RICHMOND 71
SAINTS STUDS: How much room have we got? An astonishing 11 Saints — half the team — scored 99 SuperCoach points or more. Seb Ross led the rout, scoring 151 and taking Dustin Martin to the cleaners. Nick Riewoldt bounced back with 116 and Billy Longer scored 119 — 50 up on his season average.
SAINTS DUDS: Jack Billings missed the party, scoring just 57. Jack Steele’s 74 was also a bit disappointing considering the result, but most of the work had been done by the time he got busy.
TIGER STUDS: Um ... anyone got David Astbury? (Amazingly, 658 SuperCoach players do). The Tigers’ fullback was his team’s highest scorer. Kane Lambert was the only other Richmond player above 100.
TIGER DUDS: Just above all of them. Dustin Martin (74), Trent Cotchin (71) and Alex Rance (62) all bombed on a forgettable night.
FREMANTLE 86 d NORTH MELBOURNE 82
DOCKERS STUDS: He’s back. Nat Fyfe produced a season-high 139 on the back of 33 disposals, 12 clearances and 10 score involvements. Connor Blakely made up for his misguided surfing trip with 129 and Michael Walters scored 106. And how about first-gamer Ryan Nyhuis? The $117,300 defender kicked four goals for 78 points. He could make a handy backline bench double with Luke Ryan (91).
DOCKERS DUDS: Very quiet game for Hayden Ballantyne with just 25 points.
KANGAROOS STUDS: Todd Goldstein fired with 129, and it could have been a lot more if he had kicked straight with 17 second left. There were six Kangaroos over 100 including Ben Cunnington and Shaun Higgins.
KANGAROOS DUDS: Corey Wagner and Trent Dumont couldn’t get into it. Majak Daw looked like he was about to do something amazing a number of times but it never happened.
MELBOURNE 90 d CARLTON 82
DEMONS STUDS: Clayton Oliver had some issues with Carlton fans but it didn’t stop him topscoring for the Dees with 116 points. Tom McDonald with an even 100 was the only other Dee to score more than 88, a strange result in a win.
DEMONS DUDS: Thousands of SuperCoach players who brought in Max Gawn might have gone a week early; the people’s beard scored just 79. Mitch Hibberd’s 64 wasn’t ideal.
BLUES STUDS: Just mark Sam Docherty down for 130 points every week before the game starts. The SuperCoach machine scored 142 yesterday and is averaging 121 for the season — unheard of for a defender. Brendon Bolton might not be winning games but he has figured out the SuperCoach scoring system with six Blues scoring at least 100, including a 131 from Marc Murphy, his best since Round 3.
BLUES DUDS: Patrick Cripps’ hot run ended with a serious leg injury and 25 points. Injury also ruined Simon White’s day.
PORT ADELAIDE 120 d WEST COAST 88
PORT STUDS: Justin Westhoff (136) was top of the pops and Paddy Ryder wasn’t far behind — he’s averaging 108 over his past five. Brad Ebert bounced back and Robbie Gray had one of his good weeks.
PORT DUDS: Sam Powell-Pepper caused SuperCoach mayhem when he cannoned into Elliot Yeo. The star rookie came off second-best, hurting his shoulder and ending his day on 45 points.
EAGLES STUDS: Mark Hutchings and Andrew Gaff were the best Eagles on 91. Yuck.
EAGLES DUDS: Not a good week to have Eagles in your team. Elliot Yeo recovered from the Powell-Pepper knock to score 87 which is sort of OK. Everyone else was worse than that which is pretty ordinary.
