Mark Robinson reveals his 2018 SuperCoach team and puts his faith in Tom Liberatore

YOU can’t afford both Geelong superstars in SuperCoach — who is Mark Robinson backing? See his full squad including a bargain Bulldog.

Robbo's SuperCoach team

HE’S different, Libba.

And your SuperCoach team has to be different to most of the other teams.

Who knows what happened to the hard-nosed, quick-thinking Bulldogs midfielder in 2017?

Maybe he partied more than any other premiership player has partied before.

DIFFERENT LOOK: THE PREMIUM POD PLAYERS

FLAG FORMULA: AL PATON’S SUPERCOACH TEAM REVEALED

Maybe the premiership, and what a premiership it was, gave him a sense of achievement, so much so that the demands of football, the training and preparation, didn’t seem as important.

Anyway, it’s 2018 and at $434,000, he was my second player selected.

My first Gaz for the obvious reason.

But back to Libba. His fearless attack, his football nous and his ability to get the ball from Point A to Point B in with speed and stealth makes him a brilliant footballer.

Brilliantly unorthodox, which is exactly what the Bulldogs were in 2017.

Coach Luke Beveridge would’ve given it bluntly to Libba in the post-season. Don’t waste your talent.

I have confidence in Beveridge’s message and confidence in Libba taking it on board.

He might not care what the rest of us think of him, but he should care about what his teammates think of him.

Inside is a rare competitor and it wasn’t seen nearly enough in 2017.

SuperCoach 2018 promo start playing now

We’ll see it in 2018 and with it will come a bunch of points.

No Patrick Dangerfield for me.

Too expensive. Seven-hundred squillion could not be accommodated. He owns fishing boats worth more than he’s priced in Supercoach, so it’s a case spread the cash.

Gone with Tom Mitchell, Clayton Oliver, Patrick Cripps, Gaz, Nat Fyfe and, of course, Dusty Martin as the No.1 midfielder.

Bulked up in the middle so there are holes elsewhere.

At this stage have Adelaide’s Paul Seedsman ($300,00) in the defence. Played five games last season, including all the finals and with Brodie Smith (knee) gone for most of the season, I suspect Seedsman will be given every opportunity.

Up the other end, have picked Greater Western Sydney’s Rory Lobb ($396,000). Reckon he will ruck this year as the replacement for Shane Mumford and that means points, as well as probably having a dip as a deep key forward.

The kids are a wait and see and that’s exactly what I’ll do during AFLX and the pre-season.

As for Gazza, he’s SuperCoach royalty and you’d be foolish to go in without him.
