DAVID Schwarz and Mark Allen have re-signed with Macquarie Sports Radio and there’s increasing speculation that another former SEN stalwart will join them.
The former SEN favourites will continue on the new station’s drive slot for another two years.
But it’s the future of AFL great Kevin Bartlett which has the industry abuzz.

Bartlett got moved from his popular SEN morning slot in favour of Gerard Whateley at the start of the year and has been doing the drive shift with his friend Dr Turf (John Rothfield).
There was a lot of backlash from listeners about the move and Barlett was less than impressed.
He has clashed a number of times with station management, the latest being over their refusal to let him do a podcast with racing expert Jason Richardson.
The pair had a cult following when he was in the morning slot, previewing the big race meetings on a Friday morning.
Despite the issues with SEN, Bartlett and Richardson did produce a show leading into the Caulfield Cup with KB tipping the winner Best Solution.
Bartlett’s long-time producer Joe Pignataro recently quit SEN and started work at Macquarie yesterday, producing the station’s breakfast show.
CHOP OFF THE OLD BLOCK
THE O’Toole family is woodchopping royalty in Australia and they’ve produced yet another world champion.
Laurence O’Toole claimed the gold medal at the 2018 world championships in Liverpool, England, over the weekend.
The O’Toole’s became household names thanks to the weekly woodchopping segment on the iconic World of Sport program on Channel Seven.
Jack O’Toole blazed the trail for the family by winning 12 world titles and Laurence is his nephew.
The 36-year-old from Doncaster defeated 11 competitors from 11 countries including New Zealand’s nine-time world champion Jason Wynyard to claim the title.
“My grandpa, dad and uncle have all won world championships,” O’Toole, whose father Laurence Snr was in the crowd, said.
Laurence, who stands 198 centimetres tall, has already had a brush with fame on the TV show ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ when judge Danni Minogue took a shining to his physique.
She flirted with the axeman, who made the semi-finals of the show, and didn’t hide her admiration for his impressive rig.
