Brisbane have dropped a hint as to how they’ll contain Jack Riewoldt after the in-form Marcus Adams struggled against Richmond’s jumping jack.

Whether Brisbane defender Marcus Adams will be given a shot at redemption against Jack Riewoldt in next week’s qualifying final boils down to coach Chris Fagan’s faith — and the prognosis is good.
The in-form Adams was finally outdone in Richmond’s 27-point win last week with Riewoldt scoring four first-quarter goals on his watch but his odds of getting a second chance next weekend are favourable.

Despite trading places with Darcy Gardiner, who kept Riewoldt scoreless after quarter time, Adams appears set to retain his tag with Fagan loathe to tinker with last-gasp selections.
“We’ll just keep things normal,” Fagan said of shifting players.
“That’s the art of playing in finals, I reckon. It’s trying to keep your own club environment as normal as possible.
“Stick to the things you’ve worked on during the year, don’t change too much.”
Until Round 23, Adams enjoyed seven straight wins and proved his worth in keeping Tom Hawkins scoreless during Brisbane’s one-point win over Geelong.
Few changes are expected but Allen Christensen’s return could cause a shift ahead of next week’s expected sellout at the Gabba.

Fans looking to catch Brisbane’s first qualifying final in 15 years must wait till Thursday afternoon before getting the chance to purchase tickets.
Lions and Tigers members have been granted first dibs on tickets from 11am to 3pm on August 29 before general public access opens from 4pm.
The staggered ticket release comes after a widespread Ticketek shutdown during Week 1 of the 2018 finals series and has been welcomed by AFL Fans Association president Gerry Eeman.
“For many fans who have followed their team all year, particularly long-serving members, obtaining finals tickets is a must,” Eeman said.” They should not have to worry about whether the system is going to crash.”
