Dustin Martin’s car still parked at MCG after premiership glory

He has premierships, Norm Smith medals and a Brownlow — but he’s missing a car. While Dustin Martin parties in Las Vegas, his car is still at the MCG where he parked it before the grand final.

Dustin Martin might be overseas but his car remains underneath the MCG.

The superstar Richmond midfielder’s car has been in the MCG carpark since Grand Final day as the Tiger party continues to roll on in the wake of their premiership glory.

Martin, 28, recently flew to Las Vegas with close friend Dane Swan but the MCG is doing him a solid and has kept an eye on his car while he’s away.

The Melbourne Cricket Club confirmed to the Herald Sun this morning that in the chaos that followed the flag decider, the dual Norm Smith medallist did not get a chance to collect his car and thus it would remain there until pick-up is arranged.

BUCKENARA: WHY DIDN’T CATS GO FOR RYDER?

Teammates Nathan Broad and Dion Prestia suggested after Richmond’s premiership win that Martin would take best-off-ground honours as the celebrations rolled on.

Martin joked at the Tigers family day at Punt Road he “couldn’t remember” the post-match celebrations and was disappointed the players couldn’t go on an open top bus on a victory lap of Swan Street.

A swag of Martin’s teammates have travelled to Thailand this week and are living it up in the famed party area of Patong Beach.
