More signings will come in the following days with the prospect that Collingwood’s Mo Hope and Brisbane’s Kaitlyn Ashmore will also be playing at Arden St next year.
The Kangaroos have signed Maddison Smith, a highly-rated Tasmanian, who kicked nine goals for Clarence in her first Tasmanian state league game.
North Melbourne’s AFLW coach, Scott Gowans said he was delighted with the players the club has been able to secure.
“We wanted to go into our first year and have a real impact on the competition and I strongly believe we have built a list that will do exactly that,” Gowans said.
“We were diligent in securing some of the competition’s most elite talent, and we wanted to build a side that could work together and complement each other.”
