A young woman was attacked in her Narre Warren home with a box cutter while her four-year-old child was in the next room.
Damien Jurss posted to social media that his 23-year-old fiancee was attacked at home yesterday by an intruder who “looks like a junkie”.
“Big reward to who might know some info on the person who broke into my house, stabbed my fiance with a boxcutter in the face and arm while our 4 year old was in the next room demanding my fiance to hand over all the car keys and any cash we had in the house,” he wrote.
“She refused to hand everything over and attacked him back with steering wheel lock until he ran away through the back door.”
Mr Jurss said the alleged attacker would be “limping”.
“My fiance repeatedly hit his knee cap and neck with the steering lock,” he said.
Victoria Police said they are investigating the Lassiter Court aggravated burglary and said the offender entered the victim’s home via a sliding door about 12.50pm yesterday.
“It is believed the offender was armed with an edged weapon and made demands for the victim’s car keys and money,” a police spokesman said.
“The victim attempted to fight off the offender and received an injury to her face.
“The offender then fled from the premises.”
