A woman is in hospital fighting for life after being hit by a car while crossing the road with two children in Braybrook Thursday afternoon.
Investigators understand the woman, aged in her 20’s, was pushing a pram with two children while crossing Ballarat Road near Duke Street about 3.40pm.
She was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries while the children were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is currently assisting police with their enquires.
