A young Carlton fan claims her boyfriend was defending her after he punched a Collingwood supporter in the face as more videos emerge of ugly fights at the MCG.

Kiara Jane Hayes told the Herald Sun she was attacked by a Pies fan after the blockbuster match on Sunday when Collingwood beat Carlton by one point.

“As the siren blew, Collingwood supporters turned around and began abusing us, calling myself and my partner’s sister inappropriate words,” she said.

“That is when things got really heated and my partner defended me, as seen in the video.”

The footage showed at least seven people arguing before Ms Hayes’ boyfriend lunged over the seats to punch the Collingwood supporter in the face.

Another man broke up the fight as others held the pair back.

In the aftermath, fans continued to yell, while pointing fingers at each other, as one security guard intervened.

“I don’t know where the bloody security is, mate, it’s ridiculous,” one man said.

“You and your kids shouldn’t have to put up with this shit, that’s not good.”

Sergeant Megan Stefanec said police spoke with the parties involved after it “appeared one man received minor injuries”.

“Detectives are investigating, however those involved declined to make a statement at this stage,” she said.

It comes as more shocking videos have emerged of two separate fights that occurred after the clash.

In one video, several footy fans were fighting outside the stadium, hitting each other and throwing punches.

A bystander yelled “calm the f--- down” as one man appeared to fall to the ground after he was hit in the face.

In the second video, one man grabbed another by the jacket but was pulled away by a Carlton supporter who broke up the fight inside the stadium.

Melbourne Cricket Club declined to comment.

Anyone with information about the incidents is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
