A man has videoed what he believes may have been a “massive” UFO in the skies above a Melbourne suburb recently, exclaiming “holy cow” as it flew “right above” him and reportedly followed another craft, before slowing down and stopping.
Mark Rose, who posted the video on the Facebook group High Strangeness Australia UAP’s (UFO) and All Things Paranormal five days ago said he said he had taken the video footage between about 9.30 to 10.30pm “a couple of days” earlier in Noble Park.
Mr Rose also posted a photo of a strange formation in the sky, above the bridge between San Remo and Phillip Island this week, that also drew interest from the group’s UFO watchers.
He said he took the photo from outside his car, with a clean lens, and the image had weirdly not shown up on any of his other photo frames, taken at the same time (which he does not provide the date for).
The photos caused one person to question if it was a “jellyfish UFO”, which had “been mentioned around the traps”, another to state it was “definitely some sort of UFO as you can see the energy around it”, but others to suggest it was possibly smoke, a flock of birds or swarm of bugs.
Victorian woman Martinka Kakosi posted on January 11 she had “unintentionally photographed what looks like a UFO while taking photos of the Melbourne skyline”.
The photo is time-stamped January 2.
“I didn’t even notice until going through my photos,” she said.
“Time stamps show the craft moving at an incredible speed within the same minute (10.55pm).”
Ms Kakoski said she was in west Melbourne when she photographed the mysterious light in the sky, and believed it was headed towards South Melbourne.
One woman responded to the post saying she fully believed Ms Kakosi, as she had “seen something off from my kitchen window – zipped past so fast”, while another said “certainly not from earth”.
