The Matildas take on Canada tonight in a do-or-die match up that will decide whether they make it through to the knockout stages.
The Matildas have to at least draw to advance with other results going their way. A win against the Canadians will guarantee their place in the next round.

Federation Square, CBD:
Fed Square in the CBD will be screening the match live from 8pm as part of the FIFA fan Festival and it’s free for anyone to attend. Stand shoulder-to-shoulder with fellow Matilda fans at one of the city’s best viewing spots. Seats will fill up quickly so it’s a good idea to get there early.
Harmony Square, Dandenong:
The Greater Dandenong Council has organised screenings of all group games from Harmony Square for the locals, with tonight’s game the biggest yet. The urban screen measures in at over 8 metres long and 4 metres wide and is a prime spot to watch with fellow fans.
Pride House, The Atrium, Dockland:
A free but ticketed event for “LGBTIQ+ fans, athletes, and allies” will be taking place at The Docklands Hub’s, Atrium for tonight’s match up. For those interested in more than just football the night includes guest speakers with Q&A sessions before kick-off. The event is a joint project from Proud 2 Play, Change our Game and Football Victoria.
The Imperial Hotel, CBD:
The Imperial is well known as one of Melbourne’s best English Premier League viewing venues and they have embraced the FIFA Women’s World Cup as well. With big screens throughout as well as on the terrace The Imperial will be a popular spot to watch the Matildas battle with Canada.
The Corner Hotel, Richmond:
Known more as a live music venue The Corner has come alive as a Matildas club house over the World Cup. Tonight’s game will be broadcast on the big screen and The Corner is expecting a big crowd in to cheer the Matildas on.
Limerick Arms, South Melbourne:
Multiple large screen TV’s can be found in every corner of The Limerick Arms which is known for doing sports and doing sports well. Promising to show the Matilda’s “live and loud” The Limerick will be a prime viewing area tonight.
College Lawn Hotel, Prahan:
The College Lawn will have the Matildas v Canada live across their 18 big screens from 8pm tonight. With a TV seemingly on every wall and in every corner you won’t miss a minute of the action from here.
