VICTORIA’S Upper House MPs were evacuated from Parliament House on Thursday night in what turned out to be a false alarm.
An MFB spokesperson said crews had responded to fire alarms but there had been no further notifications of concerns.

“We’ve had notification the smoke alarms have gone off but … it doesn’t appear to be anything serious,” the spoksesperson said.
Northern Metro MP Craig Ondarchie said politicians had been given the all-clear to return to work just after 9.30pm.
