A tree has fallen on a woman this morning in St Kilda.
Paramedics treated a number of people after the tree branch reportedly fell in Union St in St Kilda.
A woman has been taken to The Alfred hospital in a stable condition.
The incident follows several tragic deaths and near misses due to falling trees last year.

In December, Irish nurse Mary Ellen Molloy, 26, died after the car she was travelling in was struck by falling gum tree branch on Kings Way.
In November, a schoolgirl was injured after being struck by a falling tree branch while leaving a school church mass.
