Three men die in Victorian beaches in 24 hours
Three men drowned at Victorian beaches across the state on Friday as the state experienced a warm spell.

Three people died in Victorian waters on Friday.
A man believed to be aged in his 20s, was swimming in Kilcunda near the Bass Highway on Friday night when it’s believed he drowned.
Emergency services were called to the scene about 8.30pm following reports a man had been swept out to sea.
Police said they were told the man was with a group of friends in the water when he tried to retrieve a pair of sunglasses and was swept away.
The man was found non-responsive on the beach about an hour later.
Paramedics attempted to resuscitate him but he could not be revived and died at the scene.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
“Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a man at Kilcunda Surf Beach,” she said.
It comes just hours after another man died in waters at Surf Beach in Phillip Island about 3.30pm.
He was pulled to shore by passers-by just after 3.30pm but could not be revived.
He is yet to be formally identified.
A third man died while diving in Welshpool.
He was reported missing about 3.45pm.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said: “The diver was located deceased 20kms offshore and his body was retrieved by Water Police.”
He is also yet to be formally identified.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Authorities have urged people to be careful around the water as the weather heats up.
Concerned people took to social media to express their thoughts.
“Oh no this is too sad. Condolences to their family and friends x,” Glenda Huitema posted on Facebook.
Another was saddened about the number of drownings.
“Too many drownings. Very sad. RIP,” David Schwarzer commented.
