FRIENDS and family are rallying behind the devastated husband and children of young mum Emily, killed while trying to save a dying motorcyclist.
The 27-year-old mother-of-two stopped to help Troy Swinden when he was thrown from his bike after smashing into a car in Wantirna on Monday night.
Emily was performing CPR on Swinden on the road when she was struck by a passing car and killed instantly.

MAN LEFT FOR DEAD BY CALLOUS CROOK WHO RAN HIM OVER
The aged care worker had just finished her shift and told her husband on the phone “I love you” and “I’ll be home soon”.
She died alongside Swinden, an ice dealer with a long history of dangerous driving offences who was out on bail and peddling drugs hours before his final ride.
Police blame Swinden for causing the initial smash by speeding in a “reckless” manner.
A GoFundMe page started by Emily’s aunty Kerryn Sabell has attracted thousands of dollars in donations, to be put toward education costs for Emily’s son, 5 and daughter, 7.
Ms Sabell wrote on the page: “as you can imagine her family and loved ones left behind are devastated”.
“Her husband now faces a life he never contemplated, raising their two children without the love of his life and mother to their daughter and son,” she wrote.
The family has remembered “beautiful Emily” as a “loving wife” and “devoted mother”.
“She was a genuinely caring person right down to her line of work where she cared for dementia patients,” the family said in a statement.
“We are so very touched and thankful for all the personal messages and tributes and for the concern which has been shown for the wellbeing of our close family.”
