Labor MP Luba Grigorovitch, 40, and her husband Ben Gray, the private equity titan, have held a gender reveal party ahead of the long-awaited arrival of their twins.
Putting the squeeze on Victoria’s movers, shakers and headline makers
Victorian politician Luba Grigorovitch has revealed she is expecting twin boys.
The member for Kororoit, in Melbourne’s west, revealed the joyful news on social media on Sunday.
The 40-year-old posted a photo of her and husband Ben Gray – the boss of private equity firm BGH Capital – surrounded by blue balloons after a gender reveal party with their family.
“We are blessed: two little boys! We already love you and can’t wait to meet you,” Grigorovitch wrote, prompting an outpouring of love including from her Spring St colleagues.
Her announcement came before the state’s politicians return to parliament this week after the holiday break. Grigorovitch will be sporting a visible baby bump, with an excited friend saying she is “absolutely glowing”.
Animal Justice Party MP Georgie Purcell is also expecting a baby girl around the end of the year.
“I have chosen to (share) much less than I thought I would,” she said of her pregnancy on Instagram, having been harassed by pro-life campaigners due to her support for abortion rights.
But The Source hears Purcell and her partner Josh Burns, the federal Labor MP for Macnamara, are excited for the impending arrival.
