Pokemon Go is here and it is going gangbusters. You’ve gotta catch ‘em all. All being the 151 original characters. You can start off with Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur or go right for Dragonite or Pikachu.
Here’s a hot tip about catching Pikachu from the Digital Trends site:
“As you start the game and see Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle surround you, ignore them. Walk away from the area and wait for them to relocate to your position.
After you complete this process four times, a Pikachu will appear with the three other starters, according to a report from Polygon. At that point, you can simply tap the Pokémon and capture it as usual, so long as the game’s embattled servers co-operate.”
Locally, the Pokemon Go Melbourne Facebook page went from 975 members yesterday to 10,000 today and Wilson Phan caught a Dragonite: “Rough location between King and Williams street in flinders lane. Has been sighted somewhere else the day before. Couldn’t be happier, catch of the day,” he wrote.
