About 100 people have braved a brisk Melbourne morning to line up for the new release of rapper Kanye West’s ‘Yeezy’ sneakers.
The Yeezy 350 V2 black sneakers, which often sell out within minutes, retail for AU$340.
A couple at the start of the queue said they set up their chairs more than 24 hours ago.
They said they only had a little “nap” since arriving yesterday morning.
Shawn Pan, who was third in line, said he had been waiting since midnight.
He said it was a cold night but hoped it would be worth it to get a pair of the shoes.
“I’ve been here since about 12,” he said.

“It’s a long night just to get some shoes — but I want some Yeezys.”
A woman at the end of the line said she was “standing in” for her partner who was “obsessed” with the shoes.
“She already has four pairs. Personally I don’t get it but it was her birthday recently so I’m here,” she said.
“I just know that they’re black.”
The line spanned almost halfway down The Causeway lane near Bourke St mall.
