A TEENAGER has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries following an incident at a football match in Gippsland.
The Herald Sun understands the boy was knocked unconscious during the match in Sale, shortly before 1pm today.

Paramedics were called to the Cunninghame St oval where the boy was treated and taken to La Trobe regional health hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The teen was discharged from hospital this afternoon.
