GLORIOUS sunshine will reign over the city today and it only gets warmer tomorrow.
Melbourne will reach a sunny top of 26C today — but there is a strong wind warning for Port Phillip Bay and the central coast.
Melburnians will want to head back to the beach tomorrow as the temperature soars to 30C.
WATER BOMBERS TO FIREFIGHT IN THE DARK
Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Richard Carlyon said it would be a warm few days in the city with a slight cool change on the way.
“Tomorrow will be the warmest day — fine and sunny,” he said.
It will be a windy Wednesday with northerlies reaching up to 45km/h for a top of 26C.
The temperature will take a hit on Thursday as it dips to 22C with a chance of showers in the southeastern suburbs.
FLEET FIRED UP FOR BUSHFIRE SEASON
Friday will rise to 25C with clouds hanging around throughout the day.
But the hot weather will be back on Saturday for a high of 28C.
The temperature will drop to 21C on Sunday for a partly cloudy day.
