Residents in Sunbury have been told to monitor warnings after a grass fire threatened a housing estate in Sunbury.
An emergency warning has now been downgraded for the out-of-control fire on Canterbury Ave.
The blaze is travelling northwest towards Enterprize Drive and Way where it was predicted it could hit homes between 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
Smoke can be seen billowing into the sky and multiple firefighting helicopters are flying above.
