IT must be dreadfully difficult for overseas visitors to know where they’re going in Melbourne with such numerous and obscure train station names.

And even if they speak English, surely an illustrated guide to what they can expect at each stop wouldn’t hurt.

So the Herald Sun Department of Internet has defiled the metropolitan train map with little icons.

We think it’s about right but let us know if there are any we’ve missed.
