THE Christian lobby will deliver flyers to more than 200,000 residents in marginal seats claiming Labor’s ‘gender bending’ policies make Victoria unsafe.

The two-page flyer uses an old and unflattering photo of Premier Daniel Andrews saying his “radical social policies put Victorian families at risk.”

“Daniel Andrews’ compulsory gender-bending programs teach your child they might not be a boy or a girl,’’ the flyer says.

It also takes a swipe at voluntary euthanasia laws for putting ‘the elderly and sick at risk’ and the safe injecting room for “sending the message that illicit drugs are OK.”

The Victorian Christian lobby has about 100 people in the field doorknocking in marginal seats such as Carrum, Frankston and Cranbourne.

Australian Christian Lobby Victorian state director Dan Flynn said his group would campaign against the Andrews’ government Safe Schools program.

Mr Flynn said while the organisation was also opposed to legalised euthanasia and the drug injecting centre in North Richmond it was the Safe Schools program that drew the most ire from supporters.

He said parents were particularly concerned about students learning about ‘gender fluidity’.
